Dubrovnik Airport Anticipates Excellent Spring-Summer Season

  • PublishedFebruary 25, 2025

February the 26th, 2025 – Dubrovnik Airport (Ruđer Bošković Airport) is looking forward to the rest of the year in anticipation of an excellent spring-summer season.

As Poslovni Dnevnik writes, Dubrovnik Airport has been making some more than encouraging announcements about this year’s spring-summer flight season. In the first week of the summer flight schedule alone, as many as 200 flights will take place at Dubrovnik Airport. It’s worth noting that the summer flight schedule for that southernmost Croatian airport kicks off at the end of March.

The increase in the number of flights at the airport will start at the beginning of March with flights to Madrid, Istanbul, Paris, Dublin, London and Manchester. Dubrovnik Airport will be connected to over forty destinations at the very start of 2025’s spring-summer flight schedule and season.

Easter this year arrives on April the 20th, almost one entire month later than it fell last year. During that month last year, Dubrovnik Airport’s traffic increased significantly. Judging by current expectations and announcements, the 2025 pre-season will be very successful for southern Dalmatia.

“In 2025, Ryanair will connect Dubrovnik with three new destinations: Marseille, Katowice and Gothenburg, which will operate twice a week in the summer schedule. EasyJet is also introducing a line to Bordeaux that will operate twice a week, while Swiss Air will connect Dubrovnik with Zurich with five weekly rotations. In addition to these new direct lines, there will also be significant increases in flights by United, which will connect Dubrovnik and New York daily from the beginning of May to the end of September, There will also be three weekly rotations throughout October,” Dubrovnik Airport announced.

It’s worth recalling that last year, Dubrovnik Airport achieved traffic of almost three million passengers. This year, thanks to the greater number of winter lines, an increase in the number of passengers was recorded in January, where the sum reached 19,856. That was compared to 15,095 passengers in January 2024.

There were also 364 operations in January this year compared to 264 operations back in January 2024.
